IP Core
La complessità e la miniaturizzazione di alcuni prodotti che contengono elettronica e la necessità di arrivare rapidamente al mercato spingono all'impiego di sofisticati componenti dedicati: i cosiddetti "IPcore". Le proprietà intellettuali (IP core) sono in generale dei componenti che si trovano all'interno di una FPGA. Sono blocchi di logica o dati che sono idealmente "portatibili", nel senso che possono essere riutilizzati in differenti architetture.

Adaptive Modem from m4-QAM Mto 1024-QAMM
“Manero”
The new Adptive Modemcoded modulation scheme (“Manero”)is designed for implementation on low-cost FPGAs, it is extremely compact, highly modular, and it supports all square and cross modulation formats from 4-up to 1024-QAM. The input data can be synchronous (no justification required), or asynchronous. The symbol frequency can be finely and dynamically tuned by means of an all-digital re-sampling filter.
DVB-T2 modulator
The DVB-T2 modulator is compliant with the ETSI EN 302 755 standard. This modulator is optimized for Altera Stratix III and for Xilinx Virtex5 FPGA devices. DVB-T2 is a digital terrestrial transmission standard that introduces the latest modulation and coding techniques. As with its predecessor, DVB-T2 uses OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) modulation, with a large number of subcarriers delivering a robust signal. Also in common with DVBT, the new specification offers a range of different modes making it a very flexible standard. The DVB-T2 specification offers a choice of various robustness and protection levels for each service separately within a transport stream carried by a signal in a given channel through the use of Physical Layer Pipes (PLP).

Echo Canceller for DVBT
The Echo Canceller system is the ideal solution for high selective filtering and echo cancellation for DVBT nonrigenerative isofrequential repeater. Echo canceller provides an effective realtime echo suppression. Optimized for lowcost FPGA devices.
Numerically Controlled Resampler
The Numerically Controlled Resampler (NCR) efficiently performs both filtering and up/downsampling of a finely tuneable and dinamically modifiable factor. The upsampler can be used for spectral shaping before digitaltoanalog conversion, thus increasing the system bandwidth agility. The downsampler is very well suited for antialiasing filtering and synchronous resampling after analogtodigital conversion.
3-Layer ISDB-T Modulator
The Terrestrial Integrated Services Digital Broadcasting (ISDBT-M) IP core efficiently realizes the digital baseband trasmission functions as described in ARIB STD-B31. The core can process one MPEG trasport-stream per supported-layer, and performs all the necessary processing required to output a complex baseband signal to a pair of external DACs.
